Need help with emissions(need cat)

i need to borrow someones stock cat! i have to get my emission test done and don't have one , can anyone help me out? ill drive to you, use it, and bring it back!

i passed inspection without a cat, they pulled up the ob2 and everything checked out good. just go to the ghetto looking shops lol

Do they use a stiffer up the exhaust pipe to check emissions or just plug into the ECU and check for codes and readiness alerts?

I always heard that when they check the ECU, if your engine isn't throwing a code then your good. Of course that also depends on if they look under your car for some reason.

the place i went to first, douchebag looked under my car so i left, and went to another place and all they did was plug it up, check tires,lights,windows, and gas.

No sniffer is good news for my fiancee and I since we're moving down in late October and neither of us run a catalytic converter

ive run out of hole in the wall shops that will pass, i got a cat though thanks to all who were willing to let me borrow one !

i just go to regular (not hole in wall) lube places...sometimes they look sometimes they don't. and i've never failed even when they look.
