So i gotta take my evo 8 to emission has headers down pipe and no cat so i got the check engine light on P0420 is there a ways to pass in ct or to reset the light just to take it to emissions? I really dont want to spend money on having to put one back any ideas thanks

 

i see you didnt search at all.

but anyways, get a defouler and put it in the rear o2 sensor, clear the codes and drive around for a long time so that everything is back to ready. if u dont then it'll show up as "NOT READY" and you will fail again. if your inspection place visually checks or does a sniffer you are screwed, there is no other way than to put the stock cat back on.

if u dont understand what i just said then search it.

 

just borrow someone's old cat and header and try again...
