So today's the day hey? Exciting!

Had a quick drive. Initial impressions:
Handles awesome, very neutral to taily.
Very responsive
Certainly not slow!
Dashboard and stereo look awful, need to all be red.

Thats about all for now, until its run in

 

I'm had the car for 6 full days now, and i'm up to 800kms. The car's gearbox and engine are freeing up nicely and those mates/rellies that I have allowed a quick test fang to just can't believe how nice it is.

Diff and/or gearbox seems a bit whine-ey, but i'm sure that will settle down with more k's.

 

This car rocked my socks off. Its fully sik! Everything rocks about this car! Interior is wicked cool, dash is sweet... everything, drives beautifully smooth and grips like a *****. Ive already had a few cops fully staring at the car and me. .

I am very very happy that I have the Evo rather then going down the STI line. I drove an STI to the dealer and drove an Evo home! Very impressed with the low down torque and the handling is awesome!!!!

since u lucky sons of #@%!# already got ur cars , exactly how are u guys gonna run the car in?? wat does the manual say? is it 1000kms or 1500 kms the run in?

Have you heard any new news of when the evo's will hit Brissie???? I was told today that we may have to wait until September !!!!! But we may get the washer/indicator storks changed to the correct sides for free because of the amounts of angry evo investors up here. Also you better check your leather option (if you are getting it) because they have stuffed that up aswell.

 

They are already in Brisbane. Nundah Mitsubishi had a blue one on display a couple of days ago that the said was ready to go. My father was told he has to wait until September because he wants white.
