wtf? It's a Mitsu official release car, why do they need to check the damn thing again? It's already passed ADR's!

I have already ordered my new stereo deck, more for the looks than the sound. Got to try and dress it up a little. Also I will change the central console LED lights to red so they match the dash. Should look a little nicer then too.
When you finish that job, I want DETAILS!

btw, my car had 14kms on it when I picked it up. That's fine by me.

It's got about 450 now.

The ride is a bit harsher than I was expecting which makes me cringe considering I was thinking of lowering it! The seats can be a little uncomfortable on a long trip, as I discovered today. Maybe I was just tired......

I guess from my perspective the most disappointing thing is that the car is pretty damn bare as far as interior equipment goes, and for $70K, it's really not acceptable.

Anyway, rant over, the car looks the goods and goes very well. How well, i'm not sure yet, as i'm keeping it below 4000rpm for the first 1000kms, and 4000rpm is just where the fun starts! I'm sure when the car's drivetrain frees up a bit, i'll forget the negatives and only concentrate on the positives.

I actually meant uncomfortable, but it was a four hour trip. They were fine on my driving around today.

Hey DownUnder, which dealer did you get yours through living at Forster? I am originaly from down that way and I didnt think there would have been a dealership large enough to sell the Evo series around your area? Knowing the area you will be the talk of the town amongst all the young street racer types. He He

As they mentioned the cars will have gone back to Welshpool yesterday (late friday or early Sat), and then checked via the pits for rego. I don't think they need to leave the dealer for that though. Then back to Skippers Vic Park for us to pick up sometime in the week.

"hopefully" the main travel is done via truck. Which I think it may. But some incidental Kms will be added. Maybe 20-25km will be on the clock when they are picked up. We will have to check each others when pick them up and compare.

For those who are all wrapped up with their cars and therefore done the deal:
Is there road-side assist included in the package of the car?

If you can let me know asap that would be awesome!

So basically we should recieve 3 years road-side (mistu) assist with the car, but still pay the $220+GST for the tracking, which I understand wont start for another month or so?

This is correct?

Thanks

Suggestion - ask for a set of regular Lancer mats (in black) to be thrown in with the car, thats what I did.

They are still embossed with 'Lancer'- just not 'Ralliart' - are a hell of a lot cheaper, and are available now.

They fit perfectly.
