Hi all,
I am a newb to this forum and cars in general, i just brought this though and thought i would show it off

Its a 99 GLi Lancer Coupe 1.5ltr CE

Stock as far as i can tell besides sports exhaust and 17" low pro's.

On a side note, does any1 know if any better engines will fit in this beast withought too much work on the engine bay?

Thanks!

Jebus, your car does look lowered, the difference between your's and a standard car is big.
As for engines, you could always put in a 1.6L Mivec, but you would also need the gearbox too.

ok, so if i swap out the current engine and gearbox how much would i be looking at roughly? and its probably a good idea to replace the standard breaks to, yeh? would there be anything else considered to be a must do when swaping it out for a mivec? thanks for all your comments !

Depends on whether the engines and gearboxes have the same mounts. A friend of mine did a 4G15 to 6A12 conversion (S4 1.5L SOHC, to V6 2.0L, DOHC) conversion for about $5k including the motor, but apparently very little was required to get the engine to fit.

It would probably we worth while getting a whole front cut, that way you get the engine, geabox, brakes, ECU and wiring loom.

GSR's with bodykits and engine mods are nice but it ain't an Evo 3 unless its an Evo 3. I would be interested to see pics of the car though. Are they posted anywhere around the forum?

Hey, I'm new to the forums and the Car Scene, just bought my first this week.

1995 Lancer GLX Coupe (Manual), 1.5L
Tinted Windows

HA! Yeah, so thats my starting stock.... What would be a nice upgrade path for me to ride on if I havent got much Money at the moment? I'm looking at buying a Spoiler similar to Rexhunta's...

Obviously I'm doing the Sound as well, I just picked up an AudioLine 4 x 200W Amp off a friend which looks pretty decent, and looking at some Pioneer Speakers now and some mid priced subs (still deciding between one or two).

What do you think, where should I take it from there? Are there any body kits available that fit a car this old or not?

I'm pretty new and dont know what I'm doing really, I'd really appreciate some help.
