HA! Yeah, so thats my starting stock.... What would be a nice upgrade path for me to ride on if I havent got much Money at the moment? I'm looking at buying a Spoiler similar to Rexhunta's...

Obviously I'm doing the Sound as well, I just picked up an AudioLine 4 x 200W Amp off a friend which looks pretty decent, and looking at some Pioneer Speakers now and some mid priced subs (still deciding between one or two).

What do you think, where should I take it from there? Are there any body kits available that fit a car this old or not?

I'm pretty new and dont know what I'm doing really, I'd really appreciate some help.

What colour did you get ?

And if you do get the spoiler, make sure you getta photo for me

G'day guys,

New to forum like so many. Currently own an Club Spec Evo4 WRX but before you go and lay into me

Have had 2 x 1.5 ltr Lancers - currently own a 2003 Red 1.5 GLi BUT to give me a little street cred I have put the scooby up for sale and ordered an Evo VIII back in early Jan.
I am looking forward to pacing the EVO through the same tests the WRX had done - Barbagallo, Collie, MC season events, Pro-Max, Classic Speed Dome, Classic Challange and Classic Rallies.

Pity I have to wait until June for the car

I am Perth WA.

Take it easy guys

Thanks rexhunta. I am sure you'd want to hunt me and my WRX down for some fun before she leaves my side
Unfortunalety i don't think it'd be a fair run

I am not a member of MOGWA but have many friends who are. I probably will join when the new girl gets here. Why oh why so long!!! Although I already have a team to race with including an Version6 Sti RA, a hugley fast WRX wagon (EXPLICIT) and a Hybrid My02 Sti thingy

As for other clubs, have been a member of the WRX clubs - actually am one of the older starting memebrs of Perth-WRX. You may have heard of us as we took out the Car Club Champion at Motorvation 2004. AFARC had some nice early model Evos out there too.
It'd be good to catch up with some the Evo and Lancer guys around town soon.

Its exactally the same as yours. Same color, same car... Minus your Mods.

Could you give me some additional info about the engine and other notable points? For the stock engine of course.

Anyone else who wants to help my out with some specs.. its a 1995 Lancer GLX Coupe. 1.5 Litre Engine is basically all I know about it, havent really had a chance to look at it yet.

Thanks
Simon

Its a Carby.. or maybe the GLX isnt ? im not sure.. but i'd say it would be..

with a few things done to it, it can turn out to be a nice handling car with a bit of oomph (i wouldnt say heaps)

Gotta question for you.. your paint starting going funny yet ?

What do you mean by that? Whats happened to your paint? I havent noticed anything.
The Tinted Windows on mine has some bubbles I'm so pissed at that. It's hardly worth tinting the amount that it is done, its like... hardly noticable at all.

Any other problems that you have had?
Any Idea of the Engine Model?

My clutch is so buggered, worn to all hell... its second hand and thats to be expected I guess, a mate and I are going to tackle changing a FWD clutch.... we have done a few RWD clutches, is this going to be any easier or harder? I dont even know where FWD Clutches are. I'm sure we can do it without too much grease on our faces....
So Easier or Harder?

i dunno yet Eon ( who owns Chosen Motorsport) is helping me out, and he used to own a Cordia with a VR4 4G63t modified in it, so hes used to changing them.. he said it shouldnt be too hard..

If you want a Stock, i'd hit up repco, they are bout $150 ( i got mine through Chosen so it was a little cheaper )
