Red face C'mon Dammit!

C'mon Dammit people, don't just read posts, reply, start new threads get active.... its boring to come here and have 2 posts in 2 days! What draws u to the mighty Lancer? Talk about it cause damned if half the other people here won't be intersted too!:

My contribution.... Lets hear stories of giant killin efforts in ur Lancer! I made a bit of a wave when I smashed a slightly worked(Cam, extractors, exhaust) VN V6 in 0-100km/h. I had him for at least the first 7-8 secs, till bout 95km/h, and when he finally pulled past me for the win, I could see he was not happy about having to play catch up . By 400m he had about 2.5 lengths on me but I knew I was gonna loose already, so the start made me more then happy . Lets hear from u all!

(My car - 2000 VRX Sedan with cat-back 2.25" exhaust, 16" wheels, and 40-50kg of stereo)

Dude, I just posted this while checking mail after having a 1/2 dozen bears with mates, after working 10am-10pm half running a "Fours, Rotaries and Imports" featured drag meet at the local strip. Don't u be sayin nothin bout contributing to the scene in the real world!

(And by the way, those beers were genuine aussie XXXX Bitters , which would be bout 3 x the strength of ur ***** yank beer ("Oh no! We can't have people getting drunk off beer!"), our lites bein heavyer then ur Heavys and all! And 21, what kinda age is that to start drinkin? Our livers are just about had it by 21!)

you tell him sandman!!

anyway sharing giant killing stories....went on a cruise with a few friends and i went up against an r32 gtst skyline. 'i have no chanee' i said to myself but i was pleasantly suprrised that off the start i pulled off much quicker than he did (maybe bad driving? but then again thats all part of the package so shouldnt be an excuse). in then end he only beat me but about a car length.
i was ecstatic and have to say that it was the best bit of driving i had ever done. btw i am in a stock 1.8L ce coupe running 2 pounds of RalliArt stickers

The giant killing must be due to lighter weight and relatively less wheel spin, me thinks! How else beat a car with at LEAST 100kw more off the line?

Remember it was only a gtst Skyline not the GTR and the gtst also came in a non turbo version which put out around 130kw. So it is possible........well with the added bad driver, anything is possible.

from what my buddies hav been telling me...they said skylines dun hav REALLI quick acceleration(at least compared to e evo) coz skylines r built for 'top speeds'...not 'quick 0-100'....coz mainly coz they weight 100000+++++++ tons with body weight alone...
they look heavy to me too....with tht gigantic body frame.
correct me if i'm wrong

i hav yet to smoke someone....haha...will be sittin for driving liscence written test this end of yr.....onli can sit for e practical test after i'm 18yrs old.....haiz.....envious of how u guys get to drive so yuong ....legally at least....haha.... .
i heard in australia u can drive once u're 14 as long as u hav a parent or adult in the passenger seat???plz tell me i'm wrong....or i'll get so pissed n grow green with envy

Atleast in South Australia.... you can get your lerners permit when you turn 16 that means you can drive a car but only with soeone with a full licence.. when you turn 16 1/2 u can get your p's ( probationary) licence you can drive one your own but there are conditions ie No drinking or going over 100kph

Can't really remeber though

aniways wads e sedan model of a skyline called huh? seen a few on the roads here..looks magnificantly beautiful n LONG......i think it's one of the best looking sedans ard other than e lancer n evo n jags..
