What 8's are beating you? the stock IX can woop any stock EVO VIII... Actually, with just a Xflash they put down enough power to destroy many modified 8's.... Maybe you need more driving experience?

man i have been driving for a long time and there ones that are beating me are 400+ evos .
just to let you know im actully very good at driving winning many auto-x and track days in my s2000

I beleive they're around the shop about 10 til 7, not too sure though.

Yeah, those 400 + whp EVOs are just crawling out of the woodwork

... No joke, those are kind of rare..... I guess they are hard to beat in the 1/4 mile. However, I don't know if they are that much better in the Autox....
