I have been doing some research and have seen many new cams for the IX. Have any of you guys gotten the cams for the IX and if so can you please give me feedback. On Power gains and what I need to make my motor be reliable with the cams.

check out the GSC cams dude. I am looking at them myself. Im feeling mega lazy right now so I dont feel like looking for the link. if you search GSC cams though or EVO IX cams, you will find what you are looking for. hope no one breaks your ***** for not searching. as far as your original questions, basic bolt ons like the ones listed in my sigature and cams with a tune make it all reliable as long as your tuned. hope that helps

 

I have most the same modes you do. And the car is tuned. I know I will need a new tune for the cams. I know and have seen the makes and models of the cams. I just need real world numbers on them. The manufacturers tend to explode the numbers a bit. So I just want to see what actual members have gotten out of them.

Seriously though...c'mon. For one, check the AMS forum for some GSC S1 vs stock cam testing. The Cosi's are still to come.

i installed the Cosworth cams on my IX.

If you search you will find the thread... ver happy and the more the car will get modified the better results the cams will give...

They are awaiting their set from cosi.. Since they had that recall I'm guessing they are researchin and checkin the batches for diffective cams.. Then they will probably send the set to AMS

 

there is a vendor that is selling them now. so i wonder if he sent them back. i was told he did and his have been replaced i wonder

 

LoL still waiting on that result cuz if they prove better then the s1s then imma get those.. And do the same set up as Mr birdy
