Was nice today at No Problem not too sunny not too hot, but definately in the middle of nowhere. The TT viper was nuts, AMS looked strong, it looked like the TopSpeed STI was having problems it kept sputtering by the turn near the spectator stands, Damian's Rx-7 looked solid, the Vette's looked smooth, as did the winning Porsche from last year.
Was nice after going you really start to see how much money is spent on these cars. The level of skill and knowledge was evident by all the conversations people were having some very, very, very knowledgable people were there. It was a trip to see people race and the come right off the track hook up the trailor and off to the next race they went.
It was funny because I drove the people hauler there *Dodge Caravan* and it broke down on the way home!! Transmission is dead $250 towing bill....and all of these race cars are driving hundreds of miles to the next track...how ironic is that?
It really looks like a blast and I would love to do it on a non competitive level just for fun.
I'm sure it costs a ton though

Jon and Martin had the car running well and it couldn't have been a better day for weather in South Louisiana. As for the earlier posts of the TopSpeed STI, today it called in sick and had problems in both sessions. I give props to all the cars and driver teams no matter what they drive for making it such a great event. You can't appreciate it until you get out there and see what these guys are doing in the week long event.
I went out there to support the AMS car, which had a good day and made up some ground, and yes for those who asked it is the only Evo running.
I saw Martin sneak a crawfish, so how about those crawdaddy's Martin??
AMS was in 7th place in the first session, I left before they posted the 2nd session results. I have picks of the times I can post later.
Some cars that WOW'd me.
TT Kit Viper (Bad *** Is All I Can Say)
SRT8 Jeep Cherokee (Hauling *** For A Heavy SUV)
Honda Engineer's In The Odyssey Mini Van (Crazy Seeing a Mini Van Out Run Neon's)
Porshe GT2's (Consistent)

Was nice to meet Martin, Jon, Cajun Power, Volunteer and others. The AMS Evo looked and ran very solid today. I saw after the first time trial that they were ranked 8th overall in the points too! Topspeed's STi was 6th and another STi was 7th. I think if Jon and Martin keep it up, they should do very very well standings wise at the end. Good job!
Oh and thanks Cajun Power for giving me a ride... your car is crazy! And thanks Volunteer for all the pointers

Sup all.
That was great! Check the schedule and try and go see the one lap races. They are a BLAST. There were naked women everywhere.
OK, I made that last part up. But the racing was bad as$. The AMS car has to be seen to be believed.
