I'm very excited about because it's something totally new. Although there might seem to be some slight downsides, AL block, heavier, there are many positives. The turbo location should bring better balance to the car, along with the lighter AL block. I'm not scared of an AL block, although you might not be able to do stupid things like throw 600whp in stock form we will figure out the weaknesses (if any) and bring about a great program for all enthusiast needs. We have Joliet Autobahn as our test track and we'll be sure to flog it around there as soon as we get it.

If Martin sounds confident in it then I am definitly down for this car. I think that the new clutch setup will be the real head scratcher. Just look at all the boosted honda motors making retarded power. This thing is going to be reallly spectacular and really change the minds of the current EVO owners

Do you guys have plans one way or another for the car yet. I know it's early and you haven't even seen the car yet but do you anticipate modifying it more towards track or drag duties? Would be kinda cool to see you guys with two cars in one lap next year

So I've been keeping up on the X and I'm leaning away from it. Stock form is +300lbs heavier than the IX and does the quarter in the low 14's. So sad becuase I think it looks amazing. That and no more leather (or list of other options) unless you want the auto tranny

I guess we'll see what AMS can do to it - but shaving that much weight or adding that much power will be tough to get it back to where some mildly tuned IX's are performing for the money.

Not only does it look good and handle like a dream, but just wait untill the tuners like AMS, Buschur, Vishnu .... etc. get their hands on it and start playing around with the car. First of all the engine is nothing less of spectacular. I am sure that aerodynamics are improved and it will help in straight line. I sell cars for a living and I have many friends that work for BMW, Mercedes, and Audi. They all tell me the same thing. Those cars bearly sell and they break down all the time. One of the worst is the BMW. They are all pissed off that the Evo X is coming out. They are going to have even more problems now selling their cars. They said that this year they where killed by the US cars and Jap. cars. European cars are not selling that much anymore.

Getting back to the subject. Evo X will be a superb car and it will rock. It will be just like a Prosche. Let me explain. Porsche is the only true race car for the street. If you where to go on a long trip, it will not get you tiered and you are very comfortabile. You have nice interior and crazy performance. Well think how the Evo X will be. Beautiful car, sweet interior, very comfortabile and super fast and crazy handling. What more can you ask for?

i understand where you are going with this, but i do not really consider using Vishnu ever again. they have really let all XEDE owners down. to Shiv & Co.
