Before a Tune

Hey AMS crew,

After talking to Darius, I decided to come in for a re-tune on my IX when it gets a bit warmer.

My question is what spark plugs do you guys recommend I put on the car before I come in? I have nothing fancey done with the car, TBE, k&n cone intake, soon to be added o2 housing, LICP and GM 3port BCS.

I really don't want to spend $40 a plug. I was thinking Denso IKH24. Let me know what you guys recommend.

I would use the NGK copper series. About ~ $3 a plug.

NGKBPR7ES - NGKBPR8ES - NGKBPR9ES

Unfortunately they are not cheap, but i would not recommend running anything other than NGK ILFR7H

The plugs come pre gapped

As for how long they last depends on the setup of the car, being an iridium plug it should last a while.

I just placed an order this week with Dan - which includes plugs. Not sure what he's sending me actually, just took his word for 'whatever you guys recommend'.

Figured a new set of plugs would be a good idea.
