EVO X Single tip exhaust question

is there anyway possible to have the exhaust sit up higher to the diffuser or is the way the piping has been jigged up this is the only way it sits?

I wanted to buy this exhaust but the low height bugs me, any ideas?

it would look a ton better if the muffler sat at kind of an upward angle IMO.

We have seen this with a few exhaust here and we have found that sometimes it's because of the rear exhaust hanger. The rear exhaust hanger has three holes in it where two of the holes are close together and the third is further apart. When installing the exhaust, you want to use the 2 holes that are close together rather than the two that are far apart. This will pull the exhaust up closer to the car. You just have to be careful not to have the muffler to close to the bumper because it will burn it. Also you cant have the exhaust pipe to much closer to the car as it will hit the rear sub frame.

Going after this particular car (since I was there/helped install it). We tried the rear hanger every way and this was the only way you could install it without the muffler physically touching the bumper.....

I'm sure the owner can chime in, as he might have played with again after the initial install.

That is my car, and the way we have it is the only way it would not touch the sides of the rear diffuser. Every other configuration made it touch. The metal hangers appear to be a little long.

Better daylight pic:

Actually doesn't look like much of a gap on that car.

Its the same exact gap. The picture is just at a different angle. If you gauge the distance between the lower portion of the diffuser and the exhaust tip (about 1/3 of the way down from the top of the tip) in both pics, its the exact same. You can also see where the portion of the diffuser under the license plate meets about halfway from the top of the canister in both pics. I took both pictures, and have seen both in person.
