Exhaust Hangers
Exhaust Hangers
need help guys, just swapped my exhaust from a 2.5inch to a 3 inch t1r system. with the rear muffler, if I use all 3 holes on the stock left and right hanger the muffler sits too high and the bpipe touches the rear subframe.
I can hook it up using just 2 holes on the rubber hanger on each side (using only the long side of the triangle rubber hanger) ...this is how the t1r website recommends the exhaust install. but having it this way causes too much side to side sway on the exhaust. its ok for normal driving but think theres too much movement for the track.
hope some of you peeps running into similar problems can chime in on how to rectify the problem...or if there's aftermarket hangers that are longer than the stock ones.

it's the sparrow, right? i just installed mine and used both hangers the same as oem.
be sure the b pipe resonator is towards the rear and the emblem is facing upward not down. i read going the wrong way it makes problems.

I also did my hangers the same as OEM if I remember correctly. But the newer models I heard of them asking people to flip the rubber hangers or something.
