Question removing the rubber hanger from the muffler

Ok, heres the deal... I just got my buschur 3" turbo back monday, and i decided to install it today. Well... everything went easy removing the stock exhaust except for this one hanger attached to the muffler that does not have a bolt. I've stuck 2 screwdrivers in it, lubed it up with wd-40 and it will not budge... Is there some trick that I am missing to get this ***** off? I am about to unleash the fury of 1,000 men upon this hanger if I cannot get it off soon! haha

I would suggest you get a better lube than WD40. Mr Blast works about 50 times better...and is only a dollar more at PepBoys.

I am glad you were able to get the hanger off....they are a b1tch to remove sometimes

haha yeah it was a hoe, but I ended up gettin her off.

P.S. to anyone looking for a first mod, get the Buschur 3" turbo-back! I am loving the sound of it, and the power increase was phenominal! I took off out of my driveway and there is soooo much more top end its incredible... I'm so excited.. haha, its a little loud, but only under acceleration and deceleration... while your cruising its perfect.

Thumbs up for Buschur Racing! Excellent product! Everything fit like a glove and the product is just simply amazing!

You need to work your forearms out more. You just need something else to push against when pulling that hanger off. I used penetrating lube, which is the same as WD40.
