Question Evo VII/VIII to be sold in Canada?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has heard any news if the Evo VII/VII is going to sold in Canada like it's going to be in the U.S. in 2003.

Thanks

Victec

Cool Same cars as the USA

I just talked to Jeremy Cato (who writes for the Vancouver Sun's Driving section and other papers in Canada) and he said that what ever Mitsubushi is selling in the US it's going to sell in Canada also. He said that is going to have more info when they startup the dealerships in September.

So that should mean that the Evo VIII will be availble here at the same time as the US.

I guess I answered my own question.

Actually I could be wrong in assuming as doesn't seem to be offering the Mirage in Canada according to their website. So they don't offer all the same cars as the US. Let's hope it the Evo will still make it to Canada.

Well, since the Lancer basically replaced the Mirage as their "sedan economy car" or whatever, maybe Canada didnt see the point in bringing both cars into the country.

The guy in kelowna mitsu dealership said evo8 will be here in 2004 (next year). Im really wondering about the medium lancer to be released. Its supposed to be turbo and cheaper than the evo.Head to head competitor with the Rex? a more powerful lancer for less than 40g will be nice.real nice

Heard no EVO for Canada this year. Something about crash tests. This came from Mitsu Marketing guy.
