Letting off throttle make engine buck.

Whenever I'm cruising at a set speed on a straightaway, and let off the gas to slow down a bit, the engine/car bucks/stutters for a sec.

This is with a Cobb stage 2 map and supporting mods. Tuned by my shop a bit after the base map.

My tuner said this used to happen to his X as well with a cobb map, and as soon as he went open source and ditched the AP, he didn't have the problem.

Now of course there's a LOT of variables here, but anyone else running a stage 2 cobb map have this problem?

Mine was having similar issues. It went away after a while. When I refreshed to v400 it started again.

The problem your describing used to happen on v201 maps, but with the new v400 map it has improved by a lot.

What modifications are on the car? If you're using the modifications in your signature you're beyond our Stage 2 OTS support and will definitely need a custom tune.

Have you been able to record a datalog of the hesitation occurring? If we can take a look at it we may be able to help diagnose what's going on.

Talk to your tuner if you have one they can help you fix it up a bit.

Even with the same mods as stated with the OTS maps, it may only gets you in the ballpark. Always log and tune to get it dialed in 100% when there are still issues
