yes guys Santa was good to me. brand new V3 under the tree.
my question is really where do I start with tuning. obviously my main concern with my Xmr is that I don't want to cause any damage. Car is virtually stock except injen intake with uicp. any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Attempting to tune by myself is new to me so just looking to learn as much as I can and have fun while doing it.
Thanks and Happy new year to all my tuners out there.

Congrats! I love this thing and it's a great tool.
For the 2008-2010 models, many of the Stage 1 maps were designed for various intakes so there should be an OTS map specifically for the Injen intake and your respective fuel type (93, 91, 91 ACN). These maps are conservative so there should be enough leeway for usage with the UICP as well. Cobb is very good about customer support so you can always datalog a bit and e-mail them to review. They've just had me do a couple of pulls in 3rd gear from 25mph all the way to redline.
Personally, I like the OTS maps. I'm well aware they don't make as much peak power as a custom tune could do. At the same time, these maps have significantly more hours and fine tuning than most folks would get and as a result, the drivability is really nice and safe to drive. Just a preference really but I like the fact that as a I continue to add modifications, there are maps I can use to minimize the amount of retunes.

Just an update. Sorry so late. Work keeps me busy. I'm using the injen stage 1 93octane map.
Small boost pill removed. Seems to run good. I think I get knock reading when first tip the throttle in. Anyone else have seen readings like this. Other than that car seems nice. May go to 91 just in case it's true knock I'm getting. Usually knock sum count between 2-7 but only when first touch throttle. Not while climbing through the gears.

Update guys and gals:
So loaded stage 1 injen 93Mrv108.ptm map. Was able to do a 3rd gear pull in sport mode. Here is a screen shot from my v3.
Why is boost showing so high? Other than injen intake and uicp, boost pill removed, car is stock. Any suggestions?
