Stage 1 with K&N Typhoon safe???

Stage 1 with K&N Typhoon safe???
Hey Everyone,
I installed my K&N typhoon intake on my otherwise stock 08 evo x gsr. Is it safe to run the stage 1 OTS map with my intake if i adjusted the MAF and MAP sensors with the tuning software?
My turbo back exhaust is ordered so I'm waiting for that and I already have my 3 port (not installed) so i will eventually do the stage 3 ots map
