"Evo XI" rumors, speculations, and media reports.
Unfortunately, no. I'd expect pricing to probably be the same to a few grand higher if they follow the recent trend from the rest of the industry and releasing new highly updated models for about the same price (C6 to C7 Corvettes for example). Or, they take Nissan's GT-R path and release it at a semi-reasonable price then ramp it up significantly each year. If they try to come out and compete at a price level similar or near the GT-R's (or even the C7), they'll get slaughtered and be lucky to sell three of them.

I for one am very excited. I have a wonderful 2004 Evo 8 with 77k on it. I love it and I will never get rid of it. I am looking to buy another EVO but I want to see what they have planned coming out. I am very interested in the new Technology because I would much rather tune an electric engine then a regular gas engine. I'm afraid of only one thing about the new car. If it comes in Diesel form and two electric engines and the car to be around 500hp; I am looking to save money for transmission rebuilt and clutches. I know what Diesel cars can do. Man I am happy to see news like this
If y'all still worried, just pay close attention to the exotic cars that are coming out with Hybrid technology, they all average 60-80 mpg and are fast. I don't see an issue here
