Hey whats up man? Do you need the stocker pump back? I have it if you need it. I wouldnt say its driver error. I had 1.7-1.8 60fts which I think arent bad and flat foot shifted at redline with no problems. It feels like there is power but doesnt appear to be with these times.

So far I am torn between TurboTrix and AMS. Both very top notch. I am not sure about the comparison between the build/quality of parts to make a final decision yet but I am thinking I am going to go gray over this. Both are confident I can achieve 430WHP with either of their kits which is making this very hard. AMS's turbo kit is on the higher side but thats why I need to find out the differences on build/quality. I guess the turbo to compare with would be AMS 3071R to TT comparable turbo. Both will make the same numbers. ahhhhh. If anyone is knowledgeable between both kits, please chime in.

I dont mind. They have been tuned out at one point with the UTEC by advancing the timing in the low rpm range and adding some fuel. It was nice. Then the fuel pump went bad during the tune and messed everything up and I started stalling around every corner. I had to set it back to stock timing to keep it from stalling so I have the lope again. I'll get it tuned out again since I have the new fuel pump.

You can't go wrong w/ AMS or TT. I definitely think your tune is not optimal. I have a Vishnu stage1+ w/ 272's and the only time I have been to a drag strip, I went a crappy 13.4@108 w/ a 2.1 60' and hitting the rev limiter twice. You definitely need to get your car looked at.

Any good tuner should be able to tune your UTEC. If they can't figure a Map load point vs TPS tuning then I wouldn't trust them with my car. They might not have worked with it a ton. But they should be able to tune your car.

I like the AMS guys. I Have been there a few times and talked to a few of the guys and they seem very knowledgable. I have also driven one of the cars that they tuned with basic bolt ons and was very impressed. Alot of people around Chicago really like them along with me. I will tell you this though, I saw their o2 housing for the turbo kit and it looks mint. It looks like they spent alot of time on that piece, so I take that as an example for the rest of the turbo kit and it gives me a good feel for it.

Thanks for some info. Trying a different drag strip wont make me feel better because of what my M3 buddy ran. Anyway, Even if i was a crappy as hell driver, I should still have higher traps. rrrrrrrrrrrr There is central florida turbo in Orlando that said they can tune the **** out of the UTEC. I will give them a call and see what I can find out. I do need to get this resolved before I compound problems with adding a turbo kit etc.
