11's with 264's

11's with 264's

okay so i havent gotten my car custom tuned yet, just a ttm dynoflash. also i havent been able to run my car at the track since the season is already over. my question is with my current setup in my signature, and possibly a trip to Vishnu sometime before next spring, will my car have the potential to see 11's? or would i need to swap out a cam or two for a 272 for more top end.
my goal this off season is to get ready for next year and hit 11's. any suggestions? new clutch and tires definitely.

Friend of mine almost has the same mods as you except he had 272's, test pipe and AFC.

Ran 11.92 with 100oct. @ 26psi dropping to 22. He shifted like a madman though.

Oh wait....he also had an AMS intercooler.

Did you ever run it with your current mods?

11's with straight 264's has been done before.

Hope your kept your stock airbox since Shiv does not like to tune with an intake.
Also an upgraded IC might be helpful.

Are you still on the stock clutch?? If so, then be prepared to upgrade it before you enter the land of the 11s. It's been done on the stocker, but not too often.

yup the stock clutch is going to hamper your times much more than a lack of power.

if your car is tuned well one racegas you should be able to run 11's now. you need about 113mph to run 11's with pretty good 60' times.

I agree. You will notice a big different in power with a test pipe. I went from a hi-flow cat to test pipe and I was very happy.

i just swapped out my high flow for a test pipe. the car does feel like its flowing easier, and the smell is pretty obvious. i havent ran with my current setup. only before i got the dynoflash but the flash doesnt seem to have made a huge difference. so im thinking bout picking up an safc soon. and yes i am on stock clutch. what kind of clutches are you guys running? is the act single plate street clutch tough enough?

Well, there's a local guy here who has run 11.9 @ 115 mph with the Buschur Stage 4 on his EVO. Doesn't that have 264 cams?
