yeah, I have the BR440 kit on the car right now, but Im going to remove and sell. My evo really has gone as fast as possible 11.500..11.499 needs a rollbar, 5point harness, and other safety items that Im not willing to do for my everyday car. So Im going to remove the turbo upgrade and try to run just as fast. The car will be a bit more fun everyday, as the BR440 was a tradeoff of lowend torque and spool for a little bit of topend. It might make 2tenths diff at the track.

Umm DSM MOTORSPORTS did you launch your kinda just slip the clutch a little to get that 60ft? Let me know how you got that sick 60ft I could run 2-3 tenths of a second fast!
I put rpm at about 6000rpm with the ems secondary rev limit, and hold the throttle wide open while staging. This gets boost pressure up to about 10-12psi on the line. I slip the clutch out enough to keep the tires hooked up. once im going 10mph, the nitrous turns on and it pulls like crazy. It's a practice thing, I don't think there is really any way to explain how to launch these cars other than to say it's balance of applied power and traction.

yup, ACT Street Disk clutch kit. It's been in the car since last august and has taken about 90-100 drag passes and ALOT of street beatings for around 10k miles. Im extremely happy with the clutch and recomend it to all of my evo customers.

I feel for you bro. I was instructed by the Philippine Drag Federation to install 6 point rollbar before I can make another run. It may feel very uncomfortable if I will be using it as a normal streetcar. I can only use it at night when the road is clear.

thats really nice to hear about the clutch. I am purchasing one next month and have been iffy on it since its such a good price. I know 3 people that have them in their evos and they love them and to hear you have done a ton of launches and its been fine is great to hear.
