i ran it twice, the second time, i missed 3rd. we dont get times slips, pretty ghetto i know. haha. the times are alittle off too, tehres a better track that shows everyone running about a second faster, and i think they gve you slips too. the one that i went to isnt high tech at all, all it shows it a time, no time slip, nothing. do your evos pull to redline? mine REALLY drops power at about 6k.

Jesus. IF they don't give timeslips, and the times are off, why are you wasting OUR time asking questions? Go to a real strip, get a real timeslip, then let's talk.

If your power drops off after 6k, then you have a serious problem. In stock form on the dyno, my whp increased alll the way to 7300 after which, it began to decline. 6k is where is STARTS to make good power...

nope, no mods, stock like i said. what could be wrong with my car? my cars power drops way off by 6k+ rpms, i thought it was normal because it tapers down to 16psi

 

Yes, the taper to 16psi is normal, but that by no means should cause a dropoff in power at 6k. You should make more hp at 7k than at 6k.

what kind of gas do you use? & yes full boost isn't until 3500rpm & does taper at 7404 rpm which is your stock fuel cut. if you are using crappy gas (let's say 91 octane) your car is pulling timing therby reducing performance. yes u will need practice launching your car since it is diff from a FWD or RWD style launch. also how do you know what your time was if you don;t have a slip? maybe somebody didn't time you right. point is, get a tune, practice your launch & go to a track. my time in my sig isn't the fastest but it is consistent with my mods based on the heat a slipping clutch & elevation.

 

yeah, i have to use 91 octane, thats all we have. im planning on modding as soon as i get a job. hopefully this coming week. it just shows the time on like an electronic marquee thing.
