So I was at Steel AL for a quick run.

First one I run against is the SVT Cobra, SC.

Sounds nasty, right?

We take off, by the 2nd gear I leave him, and by the 3rd gear, he's way behind me.

I could see him in the side mirror.

Man, for a thing that made so much ruckus on the line, smoking the tires, reving up real hard, etc... it was weak.



This reminded me of that time I ran against a v8 trans am with 4 people in my car and beat it by 4 car lengths.

He ran 13.4 at some rediculous trap time, like 120mph +

 

HAHAHA...... Sweet , but what did you run and trap?..

 

Obviously his trap shows that he has the power to beat you. He can't get the power to the ground off the line. 120mph trap is no joke. From what I recall on some of your previous threads I don't remember you trapping at 120mph.

In other words good race. Driver ability won this race in my opinion. For him to get traction off the line he would have had to baby it and play catch up the rest of the race.
