10's with AMS 35r
got a few questions for you if you dont mind...and if they are too off topic just pm me.
(i am getting a few upgrades in the next week or so and i am looking for advice on where to go after that. the list includes... cat back exhaust ( turbo xs), down pipe, and injen intake with upper pipe. also will be running exede with smart upgrade as well )
is that stripe down the side vinyl ( spelling?) i really like the way that looks.
are you still running the piper cams? if yes, can you give a brief explaination why.
did you get a different transfer case or are you still with the factory one? i saw that you have a TRE tranny and was just wondering if you upgraded your transfer case too.

He would have to run 9.6 - 9.7 in order to win turbo 4, that's what Mat Keller ran in his Acura Integra at NDRA at St. Louis to win turbo 4.

I just saw the car in action. Was it a silver evo with a carbon fiber trunk? If so, definately has the potential for 9's. I saw it race against a white integra in this video i have. You were definately moving.
I would much rather know how many freelance or non-named cars are in the 10's. I dont see why this car is an AMS car? Because they bought a manifold and some pipes to make the turbo fit it is an AMS car? Is it because it was tuned from them? I would hate to have some other shops name labeled on my car but thats just me maybe.
So when I hit a 10 at the shootout
what should I make the thread called? "Finally 10's in the home brewed gt35r kit with the retard tuner" I dunno, give me some suggestions. If I am going to label my car as some companies they better be giving me some damned cheap parts (Hint hint).

Oh and by the way... I still need a clutch before the shootout so maybe I will label my car post "(Insert shop name here) car finally ran a 10.xx) if they can source me a cheap twin-disc
I think all the naming is funny too especially all of the which intercooler is best, which GT35R is best, which 3'' exhaust is best....it's all about the same.
The real variables are which kit is used and such, but the tuning and especially the DRIVING is what really makes the difference.
Turbotrix, Buschur, AMS, Switzer, Shearer, etc can all build motors that push enough power to put a EVO in the 10's. You just have to fork over the money, but in the end the driver has to actually put the car in the 10's and for most that is the hardest part.
Good luck to all...You could always call it the..........
B-ushcur
A-MS
S-witzer
T-urbotrix
A-utowerks
R-oadRaceenineering
D-ougsDynoPower
car.

lol
I call it my Whiney B1tch right now... the transmission whines horribly in 1st gear (A long story but apparently it holds
).
And... its not even building the motor to take tens... mines stock and I plan on hitting plenty of 10 second passes. Its the bolt-ons that make it. And of all those names I dont think any of them actually make a turbo which is what really gives the car the power. None of those companies make cams, injectors, ECU's, etc.... All of them really dont make anything that you need to make a 10 second car
