New Track times and AEM vs. Stock ECU
Well finally I got to the track after a few months. So here goes My stock Ecu Vs. Aem.
I ran my stock ecu on the pump gas 4 times and the best was 12.090 @ 113.55 mph with a 60' of 1.798 I also put race gas in and the car started to run slower 12.2
Now I stick my AEM in with the 2 gallons of c16 i stuck in prior and on my 4th run I put down the 11.645 @117.95mph
I ran one 11.7 and three 11.8 the F*%$# motor went
I think it is the lifters cause it starts Knocking after 2000rpm and goes away once in a while if anything I need head..........Work
AEM is still PD Tunning
Thanks Nick
Oh yeah can anyone recommend a shop who does good head work
Just added pic

Jeeez! nice time man! I didn't know that CC has test & tune on saturdays. I drove 70 miles yesterday night to race my car over there but it was closed due to freezing conditions.

hey man what's up, sorry to hear about the engine. i left to get a helmet, found one for 80.00$ from walmart instead of the 150.00$ they were asking at the track. when i came back you were gone.
that's a crazy time, you are going to need a cage (not a helmet) very soon

Hey man, I was one of the guys (stockier, younger guy) with the black WRX today. Awesome times! That is some serious driving to get 11.6 with a 118 trap.
Turned out our problem with Michael's car wasn't a boostleak... somehow we switched the UTEC's map selector switch from map 5 to the unused map 6. There were NO PARAMETERS LOADED!! No fuel adjustments... no timing... at all. So problem solved,... but we were already home, lol!
The best run we had was against you on your 11.7 run. We hit 11.8 @ 125 with a 1.95 sixty foot (lifted twice in 1st to keep wheelspin down).
I think had we ran it with the weight reductions we would have seen 126-127 mph
I mean, it trapped 125 with the spare, tool box, 1/2 tank of gas... and a BUNCH of other crap... even as it sat, I think it had 126.
Anyway, again, congrats!! What did sylvester 31 run? I saw the 12.2 @ 123 run. Looked like you were having the same problem we were... spinning through 1st!
Michael and I both are gonna try to get BOTH our cars up there next Saturday... I am going for an 11.2 @ 126 or better...
