Nothing needs to be proven to me and you guys are 100% right. I was always into cars always. I had a couple of turbo cars and all I used to do is turn up the boost and put an exhaust and I thought I was making power. Not until did the evolution came around did I really got into it. I researched the STI and EVO before I bought the evo. This industry (aftermarket parts) is a Billion dollar a year buisness. Its all about who is going fast and what parts are they using. ITS A BUISNESS. EVOM is a Buisness. Now back to why I dont believe that the stock turbo is capable of this claimed performance. The turbo cant flow that much air its physically impossible. Its out of its efficiency range when it reaches a certain psi, now is that turbo modified with some secret ingredients? Have we seen that turbo up close and personal? I am willing to fly out with my stock turbo and have it bolted on to the car and see if those numbers can be replicated. Most of the time I question things that seem to be to good to be true(EVO FOR SALE FOR $10.000 or BUY 1 and GET 4 FREE. STOCK TURBO RUNNING 10sec passes at 126+mph). I know this might be deleted by the powers that be... BECAUSE THIS A BUSINESS. FLAME SUIT ON!!

 

whats in it for curt?? as long as you have a ported 10.5 hotside stock turbo, it can be done no problem for him. But you better put your money where your mouth is.. Lets make this worth his while, you think its so impossible and be willing to fly out, put 5k on it that it cant be done. But, better bring the cash b/c i can verify its a stock turbo as I helped him put the motor in his car! Otherwise, you are internet punk running your mouth and are too afraid to back it up. Whats to prove to you if you dont want to fork the cash? curt goes through all these BS just to prove to you? who the hell are you anyways? So, put up, or shut up. This is an arguement not worth having.

AGAIN... dont I have the right to an opinion? Who said anything about cash? I am willing to drive to to P.A with my stock turbo. I bring up a valid argument, while everyone here says "good going, nice numbers" I question it. Who am I? Patrick... your average person with buying power. This is not meant to be a BASH. I just find it hard to believe that you can make so much power with the stock turbo. If that was the case I would have never upgraded. INTERNET PUNK, ok you have the right to say what you want to say. Again I have no problem driving down to P.A with my stock turbo sans CASH!

OK I just read this BS. First the turbo is no longer on the car, im back on the AMS GT35r. Second the stock turbo in question is the one that came on my car. Third your wondering how to go 127.7 on the stock turbo? First thing is learn how to drive, spend big bucks on parts like I did, and the real secret is the the car is it's ET'ing like hell, 6.7 in the 1/8th, next fastest EVO 16G is George Noujium, 11.5@122, pretty damn good but here lies the problem, 7.535@99 though the 1/8th, my car does 6.7@99 in the 1/8th, same MPH but I have an additional .8 or so to reach 1/4 mile speed dumb ***. Also im sure my car makes a few more HP than the next closest 16g car, there again comes the point of you got to spend big dollars to set records(wich I have no problem doing). So now you have it.

 

Im sure some sorry *** will be crying the blues when I run 9.6x at close to 150 with an OFF THE SHELF AMS 35r kit. Grow up and learn more about racing and not computer bench racing.

Why all the hostilities MR Brown. I kind of understand what you are saying. Get all the parts put it together and drive like a bat out of hell and its possible. Its like if I spend the money to get some wings get a helmet , jump off a 80 story building and its possible that I can fly like a bird! Again all I am saying is that if a container is designed to hold a gallon of water... I dont see how its possible to get three gallons in without some sort of modification. Again this is not a bash, its just a doubt I have. I never will doubt GOD, but humans YES!
