May be you have 2xstock turbos or a lot of NOS
Thats the correction factor you are forgetting that was discussed earlier. Thats the stock turbo, Race gas, no meth, no NOS and the car is 2900 lbs. But (CBRE Driving and not the normal evo owner) haha

Also.. glad to be there Curt, and congrats on those runs. Wish you could have had few more, but i know the damn track was packed!

Cant wit to see the 2.1 with you and the 35R

I think he should man up and run the 10:1 Wiseco's.... I have a set here if he would like to go for some more power out of that little turbo!

Nice job Curt, will you drive my POS STI? It wants to run 10's, but you have seen me drive, its not happening!

The car was very hard to tune with the compression it has now, not sure an up in compression would be the right move, just my opinion.

Yes, 99% of the time I am in the same frame of mind as you, at least until last month when we compared a 9:1 compression 2.1l to a 10:1 compression 2.1l and found another 40 AWHP on an EVO III 16g in our shop test car.... the tune up was not far off the 9:1 motor surprisingly, just minor fuel adjustments.

Very nice tune up BTW,

Nice job Curt!!! How Much does your car weight
http://www.race-cars.net/calculators...alculator.html
i put in 3060 for weight with you in car, and 10.60 run and it says you make over 500 horse? I put in 2600 and its over 400 horse. What does your car weight?

Im sure it is close to 500 crank HP. Also you must take into effect driving, traction and susp., Yesterday the car ran back to back 10.6's in high humidity, but with 1.404 and 1.406 60' foots, far cry from 1.60-1.70 that must people get. Another factor is shifting, if your shifts are .2-.3 seconds and mine are .1, well you do the math. My car is about 2900#'s race weight, cage, pass seat removed with 5 gallons of C-16, plus me at 160, a laptop and a helmet, so 3070 or so.

What about if people have dog box+seqensial shifter and shifting without the clutch? Then my shifting is 0sec?

Then all you would have to do is shave 500 lbs off and you would run mid tens
