Feeling good at Palmdale

I had a good night at palmdale (lacr) this evening. I made 3 passes. Here is how the slip reads
reaction .003
I1 1.656
I2 4.974
I3 7.749
I4 10.077
E.T. 12.154
MPH 111.567

My car is an 05' with the following mods: tbe, hks cams 264/272, walbro fuel pump, dejon boost controller, xede, exedy twin, zeitronix data logger, with my 255/40/17 M&S toyo proxie 4's. My runs were on race gas and the boost spiked to 26.1. Runs 2 and 3 were 12.2's at 111 with peak boost at 24 urghhhhh.

Huge props go out to Alfred at Tuning Technologies for the great install work and service your shop has done on my car. And of course for the great tune and customer service you have given me. A little more tuning to be done and this car runs an 11 at palmdale.

It must not have been working, no MPH at the 1/8 on my slips. It is just blank.

Great job Tad. What are the other fastest times on the stock turbo at Palmdale? I believe you are the fastest stock turboed evo there ever. Congrats!

Thanks, On race gas my car did 375hp/380tq at 29psi. I am unable to boost anywhere near that at palmdale my spike was 26.1 last night on the 12.1 on the 12.2 it only hit 24lbs. I am looking forward to cal speedway to see if I can get some more top end.

Great power at TT and great time @ Palmdale. You have headstuds?

My car made 358 @ TT with the same setup, but I was running a more conservative 25psi without headstuds and on 100 octane.

Good job

Nice run. I've been afraid to go to palmdale to run because it's always a heartbreaker with the quality of the track and elevation.

Thanks, The track is not friendly but it is the only 1/4 track open that I am aware of in all of Southern California. That in itself is just silly. When Cal speedway opens up they will sell all 400 tech cards before most people even get out of bed on a saturday. I think we need some more tracks. Until then Palmdale is where it is going to have to be.

Great runs!! I've been going to LACR alot more lately because you could get more runs in over Fontana and at least it's open every week. The altitude slows you down, but then it makes it more of a challenge.
