First time drag racing the EVO

Went to Englishtown today, it's a big event (NHRA import something series...). Big mistake, I was there 9am in the morning, took a pass and then have to wait 3 hours to take another pass!!! After that I just quit and go home, it was so crowded. Anyway I'm not into drag racing and just want to see what's the real world times and if they match my dyno numbers. These cars are just amazing with minimum mods and the ecutech 2 step just make an drag racing newb look like John Force.

First run- 12.3@ 112.49--- 1.696 60' (slow shifting)
Second run- 12.0@ 112.80--- 1.680 60'

Mods on my EVO9-
Cone Intake (Apexi)
TB exhaust (Greddy Ti)
BC (Hallman) 23psi
And the Turbotrix ECUtech flash
93oct Amoco (1/4 tank)

Thanks TT for the awesome tune!
339hp and 321tq dynoed at TT dynojet

Time slip to follows....

Yeah I kinda want to stay and try to hit 11s but I just don't want to wait another 3 hours. 12 flat is fine with me as long as I know the car is healthy. Here are the timeslips---

You think that's bad I waited 5 hours once between runs. Anyways good job for your first time with the IX, your times and dyno numbers match up very well, although I believe with an average launch you'd trap around 113 or even 114mph. Nice car, tune, and driving.

those are some excellent times for the few mods you have. Very nicely done.

Thanks guy! But I don't think I'll go back to drag strip for a while, its just boring to sit around for that long for a 12sec pass going straight....5 hours? Thats insane!!
