I'm not sure. The 430 wants to run this weekend... he's not my buddy, I only met him once or twice, the last time was when he challenged me. As far as the C6 goes, he says he'll only go from a roll until he gets his hoosiers on... he is also supercharging the car very soon...

Are you fing kidding me? Your car is basically stock. Evo's are quick for a $30,000 car, but you will need way more mods to beat either one of those cars. By the way, the stock c6 will hand you your a$$ on a road course if he has any clue how to drive. You would be lucky to break 13 in the quarter with your mods. You should seriously be careful about betting if you have this little of a clue about the capabilities of your competition.

why are you still talking about this? You mentioned you might wanna get rid of your car, race one of them for pinks...car gone. Its simple, if you like money, dont race, If youd like to be 1500 dollars poorer, race them both. This isn't a game of poker where you can call a bluff, they're showing you their cards. Fold.

You will lose so very terribly to the 430. Motorweek tested it at 3.5 0-60mph and 11.7 1/4 mile. Forget about what happens at higher speeds. You would get raped prison style.

You need race gas and more boost. in the quarter mile you'll be able to take the ferarri if u dont screw up. the fastest et i ever saw a f430 make was 11.7 but to get this time you will have to overide a factory electronic thing( im not sure what it is). i dont think this guy will do that so he'll trap a 12.2 maybe on a real good track with real good driving.

His car is a 12 second car, it will have no problem breaking 13's.

A BOV is important on Evo VIII's since the stocker leaks boost starting at 16 psi (hence the boost taper to 16 psi by redline).

And LetItBreatch put is as blatently as possible ...FOLD

Umm...No, that is not why there is boost taper. It is a combination of choked up exhasut flow, stock ECU programming and boost solenoids.

I understand that, but i think it's funny how you can list 3 of the 4 causes and just forget about the last one. Everyone knows the stock BOV leaks at 16 psi, and if you don't you have some more research to do.

Why do you think it is in the Warrtalon/Buschur package? Think Warr just likes wasting money on pointless mods? Because if you think so, you're sadly mistaken. He has always tried to go fast as possible, for as cheap as possible.

It's there because Warr found the importance of keeping taper to a minimum, and he did this by addressing ALL 4 of the problems by getting a flash, a MBC, a TBE, and A BOV.
