why not bring a ringer, same color evo VIII but a discreetly heavily modded one and shock them all?

 

Non cammed evo viii's are not that slo. I have ran 12.1@111mph on stock cams, stock clutch and stock fmic 2 years ago

 

No cams here - 11.9x's

But ya, there is no race here heads up. Racing +/- lengths just isnt the same.

 

let me tell you from experience with the new vettes... dont do anything from a roll... THEY SEEM TO BE TOPENDLESS! they pull hard forever.. my cousin has an 06 Z51 and wont race me at the track yet, only has 350 miles on it after 3 months ? ? ? and my buddy bryce has an 05 Z51.. one night in front of all his buddies with 300ZX tuned TT and SRT's ect. i made him look silly from a dig in his $45,000 vette, but very soon after he pulled on me pretty hard around 110.... Keep in mind i drive a stock 9 but i do trap 108 mph stock somehow ...

Wont last long though, TBE,racepipe,bmc-filter should be here thursday... soon after flash,headers,02housing


Over all, ive raced VIII's with your mods and more, and actually have beaten them soooo if i were you i wouldnt ever attempt to race the vette from the roll...

APS twin turbo kit on his vette after 2,000 miles.. ill never match that

 

I lost to a modded C5 Z06 from a roll. That thing wont stop pulling....

i use nitrous and its an amazing thing from a roll... all i got is a filter, TBE, MBC, Mail in flash, and making over 400whp!

 

You will loose your money FAST, maybe those mods on a tuned IX will win.
