No Im telling you are wrong one why we have stock taper. Im sure some of the DVs leaked, heck mine crapped out on me too. But thats still not why we have taper. JDM MR, and new IXs valves will hold 25 psi no prb.

I understand it's not the primary reason for taper, the ECU is. It leaks though, and is a recommended initial mod on 2003-2005 Evos.
It is laughable to mention on his quest to beat a F430, you're right.

I am laughing at the BOV listed as a mod because considering this post in itself, it is probably a VTA...even if it weren't, it is humorous that he thinks <300whp and most likely subpar driving skills will out edge an F430.

Ok, it seems the odds are against me... isn't the stock turbo good for 400 AWHP? Maybe I could delay this by a week or so and make some more power... what additional mods would I need to make 400 whp???

But for more power -- Hows your clutch? Do you have a 2 step?
20g (or 10.5 16g), cams, meth, 255 walbro, injectors will get you between 11.9-11.3 - but for a $1000 run thats what 1000ish+600ish+80+400ish = 2000 grand range (feel free to corect my prices - but either way thats a lot of mod money - and more than the race is worth) to get more whp than that F430.
As far as 400 whp on stocker - ya its doable. I should redyno my car, I wonder how much I am making these days...
