I am going to say at the end of this season there will be two EVO's in the 8's. AMS is already there, they just need a good clean pass to prove it.

Mad KUDOS too BUSCHUR 8.95....VERY impresssive + Over 20 passes with no breaks did AMS break into the 8's yet!?!??!?!

Congrats on the run David. I was there going nuts along w/ everyone else, except we didn't jump around as much as you did. I was also at your shop on Saturday and was impressed w/ all of the cars both in the shop and customer cars. Any idea what was done to the EVO that won the stock EVO class and ran high 10's? I couldn't believe that car wasn't in the Eliminator class. It was my first shootout and it definately won't be my last. Thanks for asking about the white car That's my RS.

That was actually a first for any Stock Appearing car to run in the 10's in the 14 years of the shootout.

The class requires that you have a COMPLETE interior, tires with no less trear wear rating of 140, full exhaust, no nitrous, no external wastegates, no dump tubes, no headers, no sheetmetal intakes, no water to air intercoolers.

Turbo must stay stock appearing, upper and lower i/c pipes are O.K., any fuel management, upgraded FMIC's, stock appearing intake manifold, stock appearing throttle body, stock appearing turbo.

Quiet a few rules.

The car ran 10.89 at 128.56 mph, then 10.92 and 10.94 both at 127 mph.

I was going to make a post about the car in more detail so I'll stop here.

It will be in Engine/turbo/drivetrain
