That's what I thought too. 3500+ lbs. @ 107 all stock is pretty unbelieveable. Only way I see that is if this guy's car is to Curt Brown's as his is to everyone else's.

There are 2 things I am not telling you. I have an ACT HDSS and my exhaust is off of the car. I never claimed to be stock, I just said that I have a stock ECU, no MBC, and have purchased no power mods for the car. My first 2 trips to the track I ran 13.7 @ 98 as a best...so it is no freak of nature. I did manage to improve to a 12.9 just through learning the car a little better. I just learned how to drive the car, and the downpipe that I made at home seems to have picked up a little power. Unfortunately the car is running 9.8:1 a/f like this...so I would like to tune it. I did run these times with full interior, spare tire, my golf clubs, and I weighed 3515. The exhaust was the only thing I took of the car that reduced weight...but that is what I weighed on my scales. On my corner weights I weighed the car at 3180 without me and my gas light on + 260 for me + the 8-10 gallons of gas that was in it + my computer bag and golf clubs put me at 3515 on my scales for last night's race weight. This isn't some drive up trucker scale, these are some nice corner weight scales that belonged to the Menards IRL program.

Thank you guys for all your concerns, but my intent was to share my results on the topic at hand...which was the improvements I made by launching without the factory 2-step. I think I can easily hit some 1.6s on my Advans with less pressure than I did with these snow tires and 40 psi...and it was also my first try like this. I'll have to watch my in car video, but I think I was launching around 6000. I have some practicing to do, and I need to learn how to full throttle shift this car. I'm afraid to even try.

Oh come on now, dude. You lost a few points there. I was on your side 100%, but those are important tidbits of information. Maybe I should read more carefully, because I got the impression your car was completely stock. No exhaust is a power mod wether it costs money or not. Nice job anyway.

FWIW, now I think your response to Warrtalon was too heavy handed.

My intent for this thread was not to discuss my car or the mods or lack thereof to achieve my times. The purpose was to see what differences people have seen by removing the 2-step...so maybe 1/4 mile times shouldn't have been listed at all. I posted my results...going from consistent 1.84 60s to consistent low 1.7 60s.

I KNEW I was going to catch flak from the almighty God of driving slow f*cking EVOs because he absolutely cannot exist here without running his 39 cent mouth about everyone else's achievements. Shame on me for posting my experiences, which resulted in this comment..

FYI, 3480lbs + 1.84 60' + stock does not equal 12.9 or even 13.0, so not sure how you're doing that.
....to which I responded with a 1.80 time at 3515 lbs. and a 12.78 timeslip. I never should have added the comments about what mods I DON'T HAVE.

Apparently I forgot to ask God if my times were possible. I'll go back to my little corner of my garage. I know that any time I want to hear a bunch of little kids argue over who is EVOsmarter or who has a bigger d*ck...I'll just come to EVOm

One thing though, as I said Earlier, what about the (Myth or Fact) that Un-Plugging the Rev Limiter PULLS TIMING???? It would seem the answer is NO based on your 107mph Trap Speed!!

I had never heard of that pulling timing, but if that was the rumor then I think not. This is the strongest my car has run on the top half of the track by far. I usually pick up 17-18 mph...so I was happy to pick up 20-21.

I also have a check engine light from the second o2 sensor...obviously because I have no rear section for it to screw in to. I'm not sure how that affects the tune. I do know that the car is dead rich...under 10:1 a/f.

Thank you for the contructive reply to discuss the topic at hand.
