I think she has more in her, but I am pretty happy with the results. I would like to get into the low 12's though with the same mods. Is it possible?

How the hell I had the exact same 1/4 time is beyond me, freaky i tell ya. I like consistency. Just wouldl like to get into the low 12's with my mods.

Well the funny part is your early shifts seem to be off cause your 1/8 mph doesnt match your 1/4 mile traps. normally people trapping 110 will trap 1/8 mile @ 86. Also with those traps u can for sure see atleast 12.4. But With the mods u have, the 9's i seen will trap 112.5 on pump gas and 114 on race gas. I assume u r running pump gas with psi of 22-23lbs?(this is due to not seeing a boost controller in your mods.)

 

Yes, i'm running works P2E flash w/boost tube. It spikes at like 22 but stays 20psi or so to redline (computer controlled w/o a boost controller).

I think I am short shifting my 1-2 shift. Around 7K or so on my 7800 flash revlimiter.

I am on pump 93.

 

Well with your mods you dont want to shift much past 7000rpm as theres not much power left. Your 1/4 traps are very nice, low 12's are a possibility with those speeds. A decent launch alone will get you a 12.5 or so.

 

Well from what I understand they say the 9s have lower gear ration so shifting higher is not that much worse. Me myself i alwasy kept my shift at 6800 with the stock cams. The only think you need is the launch and your car should run low 12 maybe a little bit more boost and you can hit 11's its pretty easy these days for such a thing.

 

You should be able to hit low 12s... I ran 12.50 @ 110 and i trapped 89.58 in the 8th back in May, so its definitely possible

 

seems like you might be shifting too slow?? i did a 12.4@109 1.70 60' and a 12.5 @ 110 with a 1.816. so the trap is there and the 1.80 60's arent terrible so your losing it before the 1/8th

 

Work on your 60' and you will meet your goal. Make some adjustments such as lower tire pressure, dont lift to shift, etc.
