2nd time to the track
Well, I made it back today after installing my ss clutch line, bg syncroshift and now 3" TBE and an ebay o2 housing... This stuff plus my MBC@21 psi are only mods, '05 Evo
There was a 20 mph headwind, and it took like 6 runs to get tire psi close to being right, and relearn how to launch it with the added power from the tbe, but finally got somewhere,
best 60's were 1.80, 1.86 and 1.87...
ET's were 12.95, 12.92 and then another 12.95.
My traps were amazingly consistant at 106 to 107 mph..... up 1.5-2mph from just the MBC last time... but on one run It felt like I was in 4th a long time....glanced to the speedometer and saw 110......... the trap on that run was 109.75!!! WTF? my ET was 12.956....didn't spin the tires off the line any more than a chirp.... why the high trap?
Wish I knew what happaned at the end of that run, I reviewed everything, I was 85.8 at the 8th, in 8.332 on that run with a 1.862 60'
In the prev. run, I was also 85.8 at the 8th, in 8.286.. with a 1.803 60'..... the trap on that run was 106.87 with a 12.925 ET

Its possible the wind died down and enabled you to pick up some mph. Im guessing that on that run you had your worst '60 and thats why the ET wasnt better.
I was at the track this year with a 15+mph headwind and my traps varied 5-6mph. I was on pump and normally trap 115-116 and that day I was trapping 108-112.

That would be great, lol.... I was happy with the 2 mph gain on the average run...
as far as the 60, no it was a good one (edit: good one for me, lol), I had to play with the tire pressure so much b/c the car was spinning the tires off the line w/ the factory 2 step....... before the TBE, I never had that problem, I had too much traction before and had to slip the clutch abit.
I had 11 runs, and it wasn't till the last 5 that I got into the 1.8xx's and 12's........ but this was the only time I got up to 109.... wonder if I shifted into 4th sooner? I'll have to check that next time.

That's what I'm saying, it was my second best 60' and 3 mph faster than any other run? I'm still confused.... maybe i was in 3rd too long the other runs. I have no dyno graph of my car to see the power curve as far as rpm goes
my worse 60's got me 106 mph
I just remembered, I took the spare tire out halfway through the day, that might be it, looking at my slips I got a couple 107's in there after that, and 13.0's... I guess It does make some sense... 3mph differance just seems like alot to me.
