Shifting is real good (8.0 @ 85) car knocking up top or else you had a 30mph headwind

 

I had a similar problem with my 03. When I took it to the strip a couple of times it would miss up top in 3rd!?

I tried to have Al fix the problem for me but nothing really happened.

Is your boost acting up when you are at the track? Or is the loss of power pretty evident?

 

Yes there was actually 20-25 mph winds that night so im sure thats part of it affecting my times..

I might go back again on friday and see how it runs

I did notice i wasnt hitting the boost i do on the street... I didnt notice any power loss at all... This car feels like a monster on the street but its slow in the 1/4.... Im sure i might have some boost leaks specially that i still have the stock pos bov

 

Lol....thats why I asked if there was a head wind. I raced one day this year with a 15-20mph headwind and gusts of 30+ and it messed up my traps by as much as 6mph. It would feel as if my car ran into a wall when a gust would hit.

 

yea their was something up with the track friday miguel ur car pulled nasty when u took me for the ride after on the street their had to be something up with the track only thing i cant say is mayb the wind or something had a input on it.....

 

i dont know cause everyone else was trappin from 108-110 and i was only at 104-105 so i dont know.. When i took you for a ride i felt the car pull timing in 3 or 4th i dont remember.. Somethings up with it but then again i beat that electric blue Evo IX that trapped 110 by a car by the end of 4th saturday night and hes got the same mods as me

ok....what did you actually turn the boost to...race gas or not.

i did the same thing. got tuned on 93 octane and 22psi, went to the track turned the boost to 25psi and put 104octane in it went 13.0 @ 105....turned the boost back to 22psi and went 12.5 @ 110. talk about CRAP!!

 

Yes i realized i was only spiking 20-21 by 4th, so i had it spike 23.5 and i ran 12.4@109.86 with a 1.79 60ft on pump gas
