Track day - At least I'm consistent!

Got out to the track this afternoon. Weather was bad to start but it cleared up nicely. It was about 55-60 degrees with about 80% humidity. Only got two runs in but at least they were close.. I think I'm about done trying to get any better on my current set up. I believe it's time for some new parts!

1st run
60'------1.772
330'----5.111
1/8-----7.782
MPH----91.20
1000'--10.073
1/4-----11.990
MPH----117.89

2nd run
60'------1.724
330'----5.050
1/8-----7.728
MPH----90.58
1000'--10.038
1/4-----11.966
MPH----117.27

The second run I think would have broken my P/B but for some odd reason I shifted out of second too soon and it threw me off. I think it was because an RX-7grudge matched me into running him. I can't drive for crap when I'm actually racing someone. My nerves are all over the place. Anyways, don't think the RX-7 was going to be easy. He swapped the engine out and replaced it with a 5.7LT corvette engine. Man that thing sounded good. He would have beaten me if it wasn't for his 1.86 60' time vs. my 1.72. He ended up running an 11.991 @ 118.90. Man that was close!

Thanks!

I'm having trouble getting to my P/B but if I consistently run 11's I'll be happy. In my mind I'm trying to think what I could do next without going to a BIG turbo. I think the Green and some new cams might do the trick.. Or, some driving lessons!

With perfect shifting and launch, I could see that car going 11.75. Nice job
