still cant brake to 12s =(

last night i had 4 runs , same as last week, best run , 13.1 at 106, all other 3 around 13.2 13.15, i just gave up, did boos leak everything fine , hitting 23psi on 93, my best 60s was 1.9, i dont know im guessing had somthing to do with the tires now, i kept skiding, the tires have around 50k on them , do you guys think is that? or is it just my driving?
mods:
aem intake
hks ti catback
downpipe (catdelete)

Do you have your time slip....if so post up the times. You may be shifting slow, oh and if you get your 60' down to a 1.7-1.8 you'll be in the 12's no problem.

Dammit, it's "break," not "brake." You definitely don't want to "brake to 12s." Don't hit the brakes until after you cross the line.

What the hell kind of tires can last 50k that you'd put on an Evo? Get some real tires on that thing - man, what a waste.

Who did your boost leak test? You or a shop? How high did you pressurize the system? 25psi at least?

Granny shifting. Not shifting like you should. Your lucky the nos didn't blow the welds on the intake manifold!

Are you tuned? If you aren't you actaully run slower then stock. Tune you'll hit 12's

No, he's referring to AMS Tuning in the DC area. It stands for Atlantic Motorsports. I'm extremely surprised that they didn't find any leaks...that's hard to believe on a 4yr old modded Evo bought used by someone who doesn't know much.

Huh? What a weirdo...

The name is Warrtalon. Read it closely. You're closer to 260whp, it appears.

Good job on coming to the United States, where are you from? I would give advice but I've never driven my Evo down the 1/4 mile. I could only guess you either are not launching right or you are shifting slow, or both.

Then again could I just be 'guessing' because somebody else already said both of those?? Dammit, I hate not having credibility!

yeah the search feature on the forums is nowhere near as good as google... you're goign to have to type in the phrarse you're looking for exactly, and maybe a couple of times before you find what you're looking for. And FYI, don't try to pick fights with warrtalon...
