The stock IX DV will not hold high boost on a 50 trim. At least it didn't on mine. I got tuned last summer at AMS and it would not hold the 28 psi I wanted it to. Switched over to the Greddy RS (no choice, it was the only bov that had in stock) and it held fine. I know the Greddy doesn't have a great reputation, but it did hold the boost. I run the tial now since I switched over to speed density.

The Hks bov is a piece of crap and doesn't work right on our cars. It's been proven over and over.

One of the downfalls of not being a retailer and aware of part availability schedules is recommending parts not easily able to be acquired. The Forge RS is very hard to get and has been backordered for some time. We have its sister valve the EVO15 model in polished or black available with 2 shims and 3 different spring for customization by the end user. The internal piston, springs, seals are all the same as the more expensive RS valve and they sound alike.

PM us if interested in this valve as we have some in stock.

Furthermore we have tuned a number of 50trims, including Thehector1 in this very thread at 33psi tapering to 28psi at redline on meth injection. That turbo + MIVEC and meth injection is one of the fastest spooling, greatest combinations there is. Very fun to drive and stocklike spoolup.

Let us know if you are interested in RemotEflash custom tuning your setup for greater performance.

Thanks
