Not the tires. I dont think its timing either though because your 1/8mph is right where it should be.

Hell, when I went 11.9@118mph I only went 90mph in the 1/8th! Something is defiintely weird that you are only gaining 22-23mph in the backhalf when most gain at least 25-26.

So what do you think could be affecting the top end?

Honestly, its hard to say. But if you're car was knockin in the upper RPMs, it would be pulling power in every gear, not just 4th, so I doubt that could be it. However, I guess logging could answer some questions. Who knows, maybe the timers were off! Just go to the track again and see the results, do some logging if possible.

Well not necessarily, remember the car will boost more in 4th and a higher boost may cause the car to knock in that gear til the boost drops, but who knows. I cant say anything til the car is logged. Not sure about the timers since the car trapped 113 twice and it was run in 2 different lanes.. Might go to the track tomorrow and make some more passes.. Ill contact my tuner today to see if we can log the car and see whats happening up top

Yeah I guess that could be true, but I feel like at the track my car didnt boost any more in 4th gear. When I went, my car was running 24-25psi in every gear except first I think it was around 23. Either way, Id say logging would be first step.

Shifting into fifth is useless. Most people with 9s are taching out fourth gear. I was banging off the 7800 rev limiter with a 116 trap.

With this killer driving i would expect higher traps... Indeed something is keeping your traps down...

When i was running on my stock ENKEIs and stock clutch i could get consistent 114 (best of 114.23) traps on pump gas and i weight 3500 with driver... I would expect you with less weight, MUCH BETTER driver to pull at least the same traps if not better... My times would be anything from 12.6 to 12.14 (best pumpgas) so your high 11s should be with even higher traps...

In my opinion if you can pull such low times with the lagging traps, when you get proper traps you could get even lowet ETs...

What your boost control source? stock wastegate still? ebc or mbc? These things could influence how much better you can keep boost up top...

Your times look very similar to mine. I think it is riding just running out of gear for the stock turbo's power curve. I know mine starts to dropoff pretty good around 6500rpms and 114traps put me around 7700 at the finish line.

Oh ****. Miguel is back. Good times and Nice Driving. I think the clutch might be slipping when the spike hits.

Now that you mentioned clutch...

Did the clutch smell after each pass? How many miles? It is quite possible that the clutch was slipping especially up topdue to continuous high loads...
