The car had a 1/4 of a tank of 93, and I took out the backseat, spare tire, jack, etc. Let me know what you guys think cause I know it should be faster than this...

60'- 1.766
330- 5.240
1/8- 8.136
mph- 82.93
1000- 10.664
1/4- 12.788
mph- 106.71
Either I'm a bad driver, or something's wrong with my car,
I'm full bolt-on with hks cams, and I did a best of

1.838
5.283
8.152
86.82
10.650
12.749
107.86

This was on the NLTS but at 1000rpm drop, shifting could of been faster with a smaller drop.

you are a bad driver :P your 60ft needs to drop to like 1.70ish or lower thats a terrible launch you made.

try getting rid of the NLTS. Your 330' is garbage especially for not lifting LOL.. did you check for knock?

A 1.8x 60' is nothing special.. what is your launch technique?

No knock. Like i said the 1k rpm drop was somewhat slow.

I slip the clutch til the car barely moves, then let off quickly. 2step at 5500, making 8psi.

What's you all's launch technique?

When I was stock turbo I did the same. I always dropped my tire pressure down to about 22-25psi, and would slip the clutch just enough to get the front tires to bark.

your driving isn't bad but your top end is way down, you should be trapping at least 110 if you are trapping 86-87 in the 1/8th.

I trap 87 in the 1/8th and 114-115 in the 1/4.

I have an 8, you a 9. There's the difference in topend.

However I feel I should be trapping at least 110

I'm on a mail in tune, this is most likely why.

VIIIs still pick up 24MPH or so on average in the last 1/8th at least

definitely get a custom tune, you are probably knocking a bit up top plus you'll probably gain at least 20WHP

better launch would knock .1-2 off which is what I would expect.

I have a knock light patch, no knock over 5 count in the entire powerband- if anything, not enough timing or boost?

Custom Tune FTW

Your tune could be what's hurting you. Even if you aren't knocking, there might be more leeway for power to be made.

FWIW, with HKS 264s (baby cams ) I was picking up 23-24mph on the back half. I wasn't what you would consider a full bolt-on car either.

Your best bet is to have the person who mailed you the tune to chime in with what he feels is an accurate time for your mods and his mail-in. My tuner can guess what mph my car will run the moment he's done with my tune.. However, the time is up to the driver
