You should be going to an expert tuner anyway, and that would include knowledge of how to expertly tune E-85 and Evos. I wouldn't go to someone who wasn't an expert at both.

E-85 will cost less AND make more power than both 100oct and 91+alky/meth.

It uses 30% more fuel, so the AFRs are way different, and you have to have much larger injectors (changes the dynamics of the tune both at full and part throttle), but the lambda targets are the same.
In my personal experience, I have seen better results from my car with E85 versus Sunoco 110oct.

For a daily driver though, I'd stick with a 91/100oct tune.

I plan to go to Barona Raceway sometime to run their 1/8th mile track. It is a dedicated track. People are running at least a couple tenths of a second quicker their. Unfortunately the downside to hooking up so well is the potential to break something in the drivetrain.

Right...but the next parts to fail are the t-case, tranny and axles. The axles are obviously the cheapest of the their to replace/upgrade.

Please don't mis-understand what I was trying to say. I was simply stating that hooking up well has its pros and cons. Pros being potential fast times and cons being broken parts.

We intend on upgrading to an Exedy twin disc (ceramic) later this year. We aren't making the type of power at this time which would break the tranny, t-case or axles, but those parts can easily fail at any given power level with poor driving techniques. So, we'll upgrade the clutch this year and then hopefully the tranny and t-case next year when we upgrade to a 35R or 37R.

There is a sweet spot when slipping the clutch where you don't bog down as you do when letting the clutch out too fast and you don't spin the hell out of it while not letting out fast enough. For instance my car like 5300 rpm 2 step. Some people like more. Just let out the clutch a little faster each time (if you are spinning the hell out of the clutch) or a little slower if you bog. You will find the sweet spot that way. This helped my 60 ft go from 1.9 to 1.7. Hope that helps a little.

Thanks for the advice! I am not side-stepping the OEM clutch (like I would with an Exedy clutch (most likely)); I am slipping it but probably too quickly.
