Effect of 60 ft on a fictional 35R Evo. Let's bench race!

Given a decent running 35R car... let us say he runs a 11.0 on race fuel with a 1.9 60 ft. What will this cars time be with a 1.4 60 ft?

Add a trap speed to the equation.

I'm not so good with traps... can you suggest a trap which would match a good driver + 11.0 + 1.9 60 ft?

My healthy 3065 was trapping 127.

If you are getting 1.9 60fts it means you dont know how to drive. Ive seen so many big turbo cars at the track get ****ty mph

If the 35r car is running 11.0s with a 1.9 60ft I would assume the trap speed would be high 120s.

the rule of thumb is .1 on the 60ft is .2 on the 1/4.. Its not exact science but close.. On higher HP cars that run low 10's and 9's, the 330ft is the key to a good 1/4 mile time because thats the 1-2 shift.. Assuming the 60ft is decent most guys need a better 330 to go quicker..

I don't think I've ever seen a 35R run 11.00 with a 1.90 60ft. If a good set up 35R is running 11.00 he getting better than 1.90 60ft.

Why don't you take your car to the track and stop bench racing?

Sorry guys.

Thought it would just be interesting to get peoples take on the old adage "a tenth in the sixty is worth two in the quarter mile". When looking at the guys in Puerto Rico driving their asses off lately, it just had me thinking how the 60 ft is incredibly important to making a real low number.

Hi!

Check this EVO 9 video, 10.86s @ 127 mph with 1.62 @ 60ft allboost. This car has A/C,P/S,Full exhaust,Full interiors and compete in stock appearance. The
point is there's too many variables(driver, lag, tires, etc) to match a good 60ft's with ET and trap speed.

Thanks
Javier Monroig
