Made it to the track friday
Drove to Island dragway friday for street night grudge races. Unfortunately I arrived at the track with 3/4 tank of E-85 and it was 89 degrees yesterday with high humidity, it felt like you could cut the air with a knife..So I just figured if I beat my best time in this weather I would be happy, and luckily I did, barely
This is the first time I have been to a track that had ANY kind of traction in at least 5 trips. My first run I forgot to drop my tire pressures down from 38psi and proceded to leave the line very slowly but leaving an actual cloud of tire smoke behind lol! After I dropped the pressure I was albe to cut average 60 ft. times and I was ok with that.
I have been having trouble with my boost controller all day it refused to give me any more then 25psi and if I tried setting it higher it would spike and drop from 22-16psi causing misfires ect. so I was not a happy camper..After getting it to at least stabilize I was able to spike 24psi and hold to 19-20 by the top of fourth.
I know this car has a decent amount left in it after I sort out the boost controll, replace the entire stock intake, and run with alittle less gas on a cooler less humid day, but with the E85 I was able to hot lap 5 passes in a row with no ill effects or heat soak..I was hitting misc. 1 counts of knock occasionally.
I know my trap speeds are low, and I have hit higher on better conditions, but keep in mind I am using the MR 6 speed, weather, and 3/4 tank I am happy..
MODS:
EVO 8 MR
GSC S1's
Perrin FMIC
Cobb Turboback (quiet)
Greddy Profec b spec 2 ( for sale)
Exedy Twin HD
A guy came up to me aking what clutch I had since he has never seen an evo go through the gears that way, he said I was chirping every gear! I always lift to shift but I do it as fast as possible
Here are some pics and vid.
I am on the right side of the timeslip

Ah, like looking at my own MR, since you are my mirror image of racing. I knew you'd get that 11.8 with no problem, and I'm certain you'll drop even lower once you get a working MBC. You should be rocking 30psi all day long on that E-85, so get that MBC figured out and start killing that 8000rpm rev limiter in 4th, haha.
I only chirp 2nd sometimes (22psi in the tires), but I never did that before E-85.
As a reference, I'm hitting 93mph in the 1/8th, too...sometimes less, but right around there.

115 and 11.8 seems good to me, plus good shifting. Im guessing you make arround 310-315 on a mustang dyno? Oh crap you stated that you were havign boost issues. I bet you can make more if the mbc worked correctly.

I will post a log of boost for you to laugh at..The 1/8th and quarter traps on the slip are not the highest of the night either, I think I even hit 94..My logs actually show me hitting 8400RPM and alot of the times I was letting off before I even crossed the line, mabye my 245/45 RE01R's are wearing down..

I am basically done with dynos' they never hold a tune that coorelates to the street or track and I have been on a dynodynamics load bearing and mustang load bearing dyno..I always have to make changes to a dyno tune to basically get the tune to work on the street..My car has went 117.9 with what I feel is less power and better track conditions so we'll see.
