Yuck. At least it trapped 104, which is good for stock considering how heavy it is.

I feel your pain. I just ran mine for the first time this past Friday. I am completely stock, and pulled a 2.04 60' which was good for a 14.06 at 98mph.

I had 4 launches all within a few hundedths. I launched from the limiter using the quick slip method, but couldn't seem to get anything better. I was using the rev limiter, then lifting the clutch slowly until it grabbed and I started to move, and then I quick slipped it the rest of the way. I guess I just need to get a little faster at the whole process.

I know I could get under 2.0 with a higher limiter like 6,000, but the low limiter combined with the weight, I just couldn't seem to get it going.

Did you shut off the ACS? You should be able to get sub 2.0 60's out of it.

Yes, I had it all the way off. (I held it down for 5 seconds)

I realize I am not the best driver, and it was my first time out in the car as well. I am sure with a few more runs I could pull a sub 2.0.

So is "ACS Off" essential for launcing an Evo X? I forgot what the single off does versus the hold down the button for 10 sec one does.

I just recently heard about the "hold it till it beeps" mode. I've only tried it once and it seemed to spin more. I want to try it again though, maybe I will be able to pinpoint the difference. You do definitely want to hit it at least one to launch though.
