So i went to the track with my MR equiped with a precision 61mm DBB turbo running 26 psi. This setup made 428 ona mustang dyno. I could not get a good launch to save my life...didn't bring my tactrix cable and was bogging off launch controll at 6k. my 60's were all mid to upper 1.8's. I recently reflashed with a 6800 rpm SRL and tephra NLTS. Im wandering how much you guys think my times can improve..... assuming i can cut upper 1.6 60's and i did 12.03 at 120....ps i just wanted to add shifting to 5th at 1000ft sucks

 

By the books you can go in the 11.50-11.40 range.

I believe some of our other cars that put down 350-400hp (MD) go in the 11.5-12.0 range

 

With a good launch and fast shifting you should be in the 11.3-11.4 range with 120mph traps and mid to high 1.6xx 60's.

 

I have heard that 6 speed is probly hurting me by about 2 miles an hour and maybe 2 tenths. Anyone else no anyhng about what putting a 5 speed in the car would do for me at a track?
