I got to see the exhaust before I went to work today, It looks bad ***, and is super light. That three inch pipe is alot bigger than our stock piping!!!! Yeh we need to get together and go for a cruise...Let me know

We usually go out on thurs and friday nights. pm me or call me at 8270244 if you want to go. Mark with the black evo goes out too. It would be cool to see 3 evos out there. Funny you have a prelude too, that is what I had before my evo.

I find it completely ironic - you're the guy who was ragging on those of us who actually LAUNCH the car with big rpm drops in the General forum. I'm not trying to flame you, I want to give you good advice if you'll take it.

If you want to cut 1.7 60' times in an AWD car, you MUST use high rpms and slip it 'fast' or dump it. Ask anyone DSMer or experienced AWD drag-racer. If you don't like it, and the fact that it actually wears your drivetrain, then car shows may be a better avenue for you.

Also, 'drag cars' aren't just RWD. I had an 11 second Mustang, and a Camaro SS before my Evo. My Evo destroys those cars off the line, is already faster than my SS, and will be faster than my Mustang ever was in just a couple months.

Avatar what I was talking about is Real Drag Cars................Real Ones......................We all know what are car was made for

I got those crappy times yes, and I know why....... bad launches 3,000RPM= bad bogging, and missed shift every time....
Not ragging, just saying dont cry when your(Every one on this board who has complaned about this wear item)launches burn your clutch

By the way I like your mods list down there, I bet you have one fast *** car.....Do you prefer the 272's over the 264's

I wasn't searching you out bro, your poor grammar sets your posts apart; makes you unique and noticeable.

I'm not crying about a burnt clutch, my stock clutch is still perfect after all the "carzy launches!!!" [sic]. Not that it matters, I'm putting in the Exedy tomorrow. In all things Motorsport, if you play - you pay. "Real Drag" cars have to replace clutches as well.

FWIW - the Evo is a real drag car, a real rally car, a real commuter car, a real road race car, etc. Like I said, I'm not looking for a flame fest - I'm trying to give you the advice you need to get out of Honda territory at the track.

Sorry bro, but the evo is NOT a real drag car. You can say that all you want, but the truth is, its not meant for dragging, its meant for road racing and auto-x.

Yep, the 272's are awesome. I had 272/264 before and they were an improvement over stock, but I didn't feel it was significant enough. The 272's changed the dynamic of the top end noticeably, without really sacrificing any low end power (what little there was).

My car will never be fast enough, it's an addiction.

Yes i agree with AvatarOfWar... i love my HKS 272 int+exh...
and i dont notice any low end power loss but feel a lot of power top end
